The Sound of Shiant - Out Now!

The Sound of Shiant, the first novel-length story featuring gruff Victorian detective Edmund Forrester is now available on Amazon's Kindle store. To celebrate its release I tinkered around with some video-editing software and made this little trailer.

Happy New Year!

2011! Good gracious. Well, it's been a frightfully long time since my last update so I thought it best to check in.

The first draft of The Sound of Shiant has just been completed but it needs some serious rejigging before I'm happy enough with it to start sending it out to agents. The prologue of it can still be read here. I'll hopefully have some more news about that in the next few months.
Sales of The Second Casebook of Edmund Forrester have been good though there are still a few copies left. Drop me a line if you are interested.

Those who regularly check in at booksquawk will know that I've been a busy bee with the book reviews. My 45th (!) review has just gone live and there are a few more to follow in the next few weeks.

Finally, the exceedingly talented Robert Jackson Bennett, author of Mr Shivers and writer of this awesome blog has said this in his most recent post:
"Over at Booksquawk, Hereward L.M. Proops (the best-named reviewer I've seen yet, and in all honesty possibly best-named human being), has chosen Mr. Shivers as his book of 2010. Many thanks!"

Happy New Year folks!
